I would get Deano to do the engine and take time off work to do the rest of the sled myself! I would go big bore not a big bore kit but a hole new big bore engine!

The new "cmx rocket" I rode with this year in revy was a disappointment.....more for the owner than myself because I didn't pay $35k for it. Snow was deep and without water/air inter cooler this thing charge temps got so hot he couldn't ride out of upper bull-pen at boulder, and with the fuel controller on this cmx he had no way of changing anything without a laptop. Cmx sleds may work good in Montana where Mark rides but for the BC ever changing conditions the Cmx is not a winner.
I ride a cmx and love it and I only ride in bc not a turbo but if money is no object get the turbo done by neil at boost-it, that's a one of a kind sled right there!

If money was truly no object:

Option A: an entire 4 stroke motor, drive train, clutches, turbo etc, all milled out of solid blocks of titanium, build a custom ti tube and cf chassis to house it all, and run it on propane at 35 PSI with a 174" x 4" track throwing ice chunks to the fu%$^& moon

Option B: buy a Skandic SWT and a big toboggan, tow my harem of hot chicks in bikinis to the top of Boulder, drink some 100 yr old scotch, smoke a fine cigar and have a groupie!

I knew I get a few good laughs outs this thread ...

my dream is 300hp in a 300lb sled ...
shall we take bets on wot year this will happen?
will any of us be alive to see it?

C3 already do direct drive 240hp turbo etec 419lb tube chassis ... so I'm told ...
boost it up a bit more and I'd be happy with that for next season ... eh ...
