X2,Gona have to take the head off though.

I heard of guys having good luck with them. Don't know if you have to take the head off? If you pack the flutes of the tap full of grease the fillings should stick in the grease. Or blow air through the exhaust into the cylinder so the fillings get blown out. Thats just a couple of thoughts the only way to be 100% sure is to take off the head. Good luck!

Buy the spark plug thread repair kit............ Complete with special type heli-coil and seating punch and drill bit and tap .......... Napa, bumper to bumper, etc carry most sizes...... They come in short, med and long reach, depending on type of spark plug......... Not necessary to take the head off, but good idea to have a vacuum and air pressure handy after tapping. When tapping the hole, put grease around the tap threads so it will gather the shavings

I did this when I was a kid new/used bike, before first ride, pulled plug checkin it over went back in tight the whole way..... talk about a heart breaker. Can't blame the kid for trying, he will never do that again, lesson learned.
