Anyone know where to go for a Ride in the Creston area

go for a ride down highway 3A towards the koot lake ferry, there are tons of logging roads to ride on just keep an eye out on the right hand side

Quick ride up to the old lookout building and microwave towers just east of Creston (Mt Thompson or Thomas?), take the Canyon road a couple km east of town and after crossing the bridge take a left turn follow it to dirt and unload there, not a long ride but great views from the ridge top.

If you look at a map and see the old road that goes to the top, it's deactivated near the bottom, we found out the hard way after coming down from the top! Had to walk all 3 quads across the 45degree slope on a single track trail for about 300 yards. Was quicker then going back up!

Creston has a very active atv club. Search Creston Valley Quad Squad for ride info.

I am a member of the Creston Valley Quad Squad and they are a very active wonderful group to ride with. Google them for more info. My husband and myself are actualy from Crawford Bay, up Kootenay Lake (hwy 3A) and have been riding around our area for 2 years now. There are so many trails, cabins and FSR roads you could spend a week up here and still not ride them all. If you want more info let me know.

Here's some pics of Meadow Mtn near Meadow Creek about 30 mi North of Kaslo BC. Easy family ride (approx 16 mi or 1 hr) from staging area. The last photo has a family of goats visible.
