Well finally home from Edmonton ................. and another crazy night on the QE2 !!!! A Semi lost its load right by the first exit into Nisku !!!! Traffic 4 lanes wide backed up all the way to Edmonton !! And every one "jocking" back and forth from lane to lane ....just cause one lane might be a little faster than the other !!! And there was even people take to the ditch where the fence was down to get on the side gravel road............crazyiness everywhere !!! :tearhairout:
Now what gets me is ............. who decided to remove ALL exits from the QE2 besides the overpasses ??? Yes, I know there is none in the section of highway that was backed up tonight BUT I've been on the QE2 else where and saw it backed up for miles cause ALL exits have been removed !!!
In my opinion....everyone is bent for speed on the QE2 and when there is an accident...there is almost 6 others...cause everyone is in a rush you know !!!!! Some times it would be nice to exit the QE2 and get away from all the "excitement", when there is an accident ?? Less traffic is better , no ?? Instead of the QE2 getting faster, and faster......shouldn't we maybe just slow down (the speed limit) ....drive with some manners and RELAX ??? Because everytime I drive on the QE2 it's crazier, and crazier !!

I feel you're pain....I dread having to drive the QE2.....I would sooner take backroads and cost me an extra hr. Especially in the winter....people drive like idiots....very icy and still a buck 30! I stay off it in the winter unless I have absolutely no other option.....just too dangerous the way some of these people drive.....just retarded.

I drove that road to Olds and back to Airdrie for two years and Olds to Red Deer every day for 3 years before that. Only time i avoid that road is when its snowing or icy because it turns to mayhem. Other than that i love it. Set the cruise and turn on the radio.
