just a tad bit of info for anyone who might want it. Did crank runout test on a 07 m1000 a while back and the run out was .003 to.004 out. Warranty said no way, runout has too be .005 out, but decided to take crank out anyway and phase it down. When the crank was out, anyother runout was done and it was out .006, but a couple of the bearings were shot. Went back to warranty, still nothing(they said it was because we didn't use a arctic cat tech.) this is not an option because our local tech is pretty much incompetent. So a new crank we ordered, complete with bearings..... but guess what? the new one was out even more. .012 on mag end, and .008 on pto end. we decided not to wait another 2 weeks for another crank so we phased it down. Now its within .001. we also checked our 2 m8's, and yes, they were both out .0035 to.0045. These ones they did warranty though. so 3 out of 3. what are the chances.

Just thought we'd let you know whats up the AC and cranks. We are not too impressed. Wade's talking going yamaha after all this.

no beer involved, unless the factory guys are drinkin when they build this chit. But i think its up and running except for the a arms and shock he broke today when he hit a rock a mile up the road. If he didn't have bad luck, he wouldn't have any at all.
