Is it all used atv’s that are ridiculously priced or just Yamaha?
I’ve been looking casually at buying a Kodiak 700 and sure there aren’t many on the Kijiji machine currently but they are priced as much or more than new. For 5 y/o machines.

I just called a dealer today and non-SE model with power steering out the door with pdi, freight, and our sweet 12% tax here in BC was 13g. I’m looking at used ones for 12g + with a $700 plow and touching 3000 km. Craziness.

It’s everything!

Especially kids bikes and sleds.

So buy new while they have stock. Once the stock is gone the used prices will go up more

No recreational demographic is shielded from this pricing. Sleds, dirt, water and trailers are crazy right now. Everything costs more

Friend listed his wake boat for more than he paid for it new and he got bombarded with messages. He has an offer and deposit on it now and guys are still offering him more money. Makes me feel like I should clear out some of my less used toys haha

I've been thinking the same. Got lots of things.

I didn't think it was time to sell boats yet. Still ice on the water in some places...

I think we are just on the edge of how serious / dire things are about to get for shortages across the board not just toys. Shut down the factories for a few months and the effect will last years.

Guy that put the deposit on his said that if you arent there with a deposit within 24-48 hours of a boat being posted...it is gone...and this was last week. Buddy drove from Medicine Hat to Calgary just to be the first to look at it and put a deposit down right away.

My Ford dealer told me that when Ford has all its factories running they can complete 213 vehicles/minute. They run 24/7 and were shut down for 3 months. Do the math. The numbers are staggering. Now add up all the other companies, some bigger and some smaller. This is why there is no product to buy. I was at my dealer the other day. They had 5 trucks on their lot, a couple SUV;'s and a Mustang in the showroom. I asked them if they were going out of business? Lmao!

Yup not good, took my chev in for some work local dealer said unspoken for new vehicles last for “hours” before sold. Factories closed, interest rates record low, lots of free gov cash in the economy, people can’t travel and can’t halt their own spending, markets at record highs, f me there’s a cliff out there somewhere we are going off.

Never would I have imagined used value exceeding new. I look at prices on kijiji and often wonder if a gold bar or two is included in the price.

I sold my son's 2018 crf 50 for more than I paid new three years ago. It's all relative though. I am paying more for the new klx 110 as well.

Yah I often think I should sell my ranger as I don’t use it much anymore. I bet I can get a good price for it now! My jet boat I know I can sell it for more than I paid. But then I just need to pay more for another one

ditto I have a 5 year old wake boat could sell for 20 more than paid from talking to wizardlake, problem is replacing it, might be for sale day after summer holidays and hope for normality for 2022 to replace.... not sure I want to take that hedge though.

Living in Sparwood I see many loads of slightly used trucks and cars on their way to the states. That must be effecting inventories and helping in driving the prices up.
