It’s all speculation without proof. Maybe it was other local citizens, protestors were blocking the freedom parade up in Edmonton earlier.

Spray foam up the fuel lines, cutting all the wires to solenoids, and battery cables cut, that's a bit excessive to demobilize the units. The RC's should be paying the bill bet you its 3-4 K per unit.

They'll lie and say they cut the battery cables that's it and get away with it. This should be fully investigated by a larger body like ASERT.

if they spray foamed fuel lines, would fuel tanks have to be replaced, may have to start at fuel tanks and replace everything to the injectors. could be north of $4000 for repairs. .
