Most of the people want their freedoms back. Freedom to work and be a contributing citizen without having to take a vaccination they don’t feel comfortable with. Freedom to go into a public swimming pool or hockey rink with their families. Freedom to go out to a movie or restaurant. If people want to wear masks wear a mask. If you don’t feel comfortable going out don’t. If you want to get a booster every time they say to go ahead. I support your right to choose what you think is best for you. I want to be able to make the choice to as to what’s best for me. I’m not for segregation or discrimination of people. Never in history has it worked out for the good.

I get how people might be against the blockades. But to that I say, what do you suggest we do that gets the same attention from the government?
We tried talking like civil people.
Didn’t do jack.
Writing letters, squat.
Phone calls jack
Protests nadda
Rallies zip
We have tried, and we have been ignored.

So the choice is just give up and take it up the azz like good like subjects.

Or we ramp it up and MAKE THEM PAY ATTENTION.

we didn’t start with massive blockades, just remember that when your handing out blame
I am not against the blockade....I am a bit concerned that it is ONLY at this border.
Other provinces need to take a financial hit not just Alberta, we've had our fair share already.

I suspect the AB border blockade was Aimed specifically at Kenny. Hence why only ab, but was definitely inspired by the Main Ottawa Convoy

To end it all. Rumour has it Kenny has his sheriffs planning a raid at night gonna night arrest everyone when less people are there. So the more people there the less likely that happens. The protest isn’t about a virus pass it’s about normal life. Leave us the hell alone. No control. No pass. No mandates. No MASKS on anyone anywhere.
NORMAL life

Everybody is cranky, the good news is, Omicron is almost over and hopefully we get a break. Whatever the next one is I hope it's mild like Omicron. Hospitals need to catch up. I'm supposed to get ultra sound every 3 months, it's been since August. Covid encouraged retirement that's the problem, so many were due for retirement and I don't blame them for retiring.

Masking doesn't work against Omicron anyhow, it's annoying but it stopped the Spanish flu.

If the Ministry of Health didn't have a masking rule in place and everyone got sick, kids at school, everyone, and no mask rule...You'd be pissed. What would you do if it was your call ?

Settle down, it's a mask.

Aha! But the Ottawa blockade is all about protesting directly to the federal government! The borders in Ontario, Quebec and all the Liberal supporters are still open. Why are you blocking the Alberta border? What about the rest of the provinces?
Alberta is already on its knees by getting plundered in the oil and gas and farming industry.....why hurt the people of the province by limiting our economy more??
Why not block the border crossings in Ontario? or in Quebec? Even Manitoba?
IMO Alberta is where the balls live !!! The men. Also the piggy bank is here. We are strong and proud. Less vaccinated people here than anywhere in Canada. Don’t worry if they shut down the border protest in Alberta they will continue in the rest of the provinces guaranteed this is not stopping.

The citizens in any other province is free to express their opinion to their premiers any way the chose fit. But they would need to grow a set and get at it!

The protesters haven’t moved their goal posts but the government has many times. Protesters are asking for all mandates to end. Then yes they will leave, they don’t want to be their either. Jason Kenny’s words or any other politicians words don’t mean a thing. Nobody believes anything they say anymore. He’s Gotta show some action instead.

I am vaxed but defiantly not free. Needing to cover my face and show my passport to enter an establishment is not freedom. And the last 2 years will cause mental health issues for everyone, some may just be able to deal with it better than others.

It’s also one thing for me to take a experimental vaccine, I Already have had my children and 1/2 my life.

I would like to make my own Choice if my kids need it or not. We have all had COVID already and it didn’t matter in how many shots my family had 0, 2 or 3, everyone got omicron for Christmas! Every one had the same Symptoms. A runny nose!

My opinion before COVID was people are over medicated. Getting a prescription or pop pills for any ailment. If I have a head ache I prefer to chug a bunch of water vs taking Tylenol or Advil.

Kids now a days are mixing prescription pills and booze or hitting fentanyl vs smoking weed

What happened to “Don’t do drugs just because your friends are peer pressuring you”

There was a lawsuit filed against a school board in sask here today over masks, this pandemic is harming kids, the anxiety there mentall health is at risk so many kids think there going to die or the sickness the sickness cant play like normal it all adds up to a little child, kids need to be kids
Which school board is that ? I know a bunch h have been served a notice of liability about the masks.

I have kids, I have grandkids...they're fine. How will these restrictions that we've all had to endure (and will be ending soon) affect my kids futures?
I don't follow your logic.
These mandates were part ofnthe reason my brother committed suicide. Not allowed to leave his province for almost 2 years. Not allowed to to have big business meetings and social gatherings, which he thrived on. I have 2 neices on the east coast that are almost 2 that I haven't met yet.

For you to tell me that these pathetic rules and mandates havent affected family and friends tells me how sheltered you are. I was black mailed into getting a vaccine that I dont need so I could keep my job to provide for my growing family. I also got my vaccine so I could "freely" travel in my own country so I can go home to visit my brothers grave...almost 3 months after his funeral, because I wasn't allowed to fly home for the funeral.

If you think these protests are just for truckers to be able to travel to the USA, again, you live an extremely sheltered life. I'm partially jealous because these mandates have separated me from my family for 2 years now.

This needs to end and these protests are showing everyone that we are fed up with the unlawful mandates.
