I personally think that cleaning a new belt is a total waste of time. I will periodically clean the clutch faces but have never "washed" a belt. But what doo I know after all my years of sledding...............

Learning something new all the time hey????
Suppose to wash belt in hot soapy water and let dry before installing. "Google it or look in race manual "
Clutch's clean and new clean belt will always be a good start.
What takes the most abuse of anything on the sled ? Everything you can do to help out makes a difference.
