Another thing that you might give some thought to is the roll-over switch feature that our Phantom Teth-Air has. It is programmable for 1-5 seconds before shutdown. It is not fun to be trapped under a running/revving sled. Not trying to sell you on anything here because we are almost out of stock on these already but it scares me to think of little ones in this type of situation.

So glad she is OK. Is she wanting to ever go sledding again? The old get back on the horse thing. I bought a Canadian Ranger Skandic sled and it came with a fence cutter. Since this photo I cut it down a bit. This would help. People used these years ago to chase coyotes.

Never been much into sledding, dangers like fences are a large part of the reason. I've never seen or heard of anything like this fence cutter before but think it's one hell of a great idea for all the flat land riders out there!!!

You're a good dad and obviously have a lot of love and concern for your daughter. I am really thankful that you reached out to peeps on the sight. Many times we are hesitant to share our parenting experiences for fear of ridicule. You've opened up many eyes and have inspired many a conversation between parents and kids.

That is slick!! I wonder how hard it would be to fab up something simpler that just bolts into the front bumper maybe and follow the contour of the hood.

I gonna try over the winter to get her back on the sled if she'll have it? last year we took the kids skiing for the first time and the poor girl broke her leg going up the rope tow on her second time going up by her self... will have nothing to do with the sport anymore she... Averi is her name by the way... is a trooper but moral for winter sports seems to be fading. we are a family that embraces the winter season so we are really hoping we can turn her growing adversion to it around.
