Just tried out the heated gloves and heated socks from Costco today. Amazing! Such good value at $100 for socks and $149 for full leather gloves both heated with three settings. We were at -14C up top and had toasty toes and fingers for a good 4-5 hours.

What kind of batteries for the socks? I have been searching for some that do not use lithium batteries. Its rare but if they start on fire i dont want that strapped to my calf under all my gear.

I looked at the gloves at Costco. They look like a pretty nice glove. The batteries were removed from the display samples but the box said lithium batteries. I did not see the socks at the store but I would imagine they are lithium as well.

Buddie was wearing the new Klim heated gloves. They were shocking him at the finger tips. Exchanged for a new pair, not sure if they are better or not.

I have the FXR heated gloves and they are pretty good, happy with them.

Was crusing through Costco yesterday and found a pair of the Karbon gloves to try.

Had icicles for 28km outta salmon last trip. Made it a no brainer for me (yes I pack multiple pairs, just how the day went).
