Gainford is open again, and food gets good reviews, or if you want to go up through Alberta Beach, Mama's in the Kitchen is amazing.

Darwell Bar for a quick wings/beer

Mamas in the kitchen is awesome hey, I love that place

Been to the hideout, it is good!
In Red Deer, also try Pauls Pizza. Another covid rebel.

Well here is today's report. Started with eggs Benny at Mammas in the kitchen. Then drove to Crescent falls and hung out for a couple hours. Ran into a couple and their dogs. Turns out they are from Lloyd! Like how does that happen.
Then hit Chef in pigeon for the farmers burger on way home. One of the best burgers I've had. Was all awesome.
Had a very peaceful relaxing day.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. Would definitely recommend.

Will check out some of the other places next time out.

I miss a good Baron burger. I don’t think there’s any left out here in Sask.

their food went down hill. or at least the last time I had it. after they re did the new building pretty sure they had to cut costs to keep going. I advent had it in a long time but last time wasn't good. even the kids didn't like it

We were staying in Rocky this fall and did Crescent Falls and then took the forestry trunk road to Ram Falls then back to Rocky. It a great drive but wouldn't be on a bike unless you had an adventure bike or a dual-sport. Its al gravel, but we ran into a couple of graders so it was in great shape. Since it was late in the season both places were dead. We only saw a few people at either site. It was great not having to avoid the crowds. They've put a lot of money into building safe lookouts for people to enjoy the view.

We frequent Chef N several times throughout the year. My wife's parents have a place out there so we are out at Pigeon Lake quite often. Longshot Distillery close to Battle Lake is also really good. They may be closed for the season now. Our neighbor out there works at Rendezvous Hops & Grill. We haven't eaten there but the food is reportedly, and looks great!
