It's a Bushnell ERS 4.5-30x 50mm. Planing on a more powerful scope in the future. I had this lying around.

They have a 30x now? Cool. I always liked their stuff for cheaper scopes. I am pretty sure you need a nightforce 12x42 on there. Had one on my .308. I could spot my shots at 800 m before my spotter could lol

I paid 1000 taxin for the scope an leupold rings. The fit and finish on it is decent.

When I go on days off I need to bring savage in to get the magazine catch built up as when I have it full of rounds and shoot it sometimes gets knocked loose. Very little recoil as it's a heavy cannon. Can shoot it and not get a sore shoulder.

How is the relief on that scope? I had some off brand pos that was supposed to be set up for a .50. Got kissed by it a couple times by my .338 lapua. But look at the nightforce. Best scope I ever used and owned.

If you are not on there yet check out gunnutz and look for an used one. I bought mine for around 1800 and sold it for close to the same. Some guys use 10 or 15x or even 22x but the 42x kicked ass. Aim small shoot small.

Call p&d in edmonton they have lots of scopes and a new rail for mounting the scope ... if you go back a few pages I have a pic of my sks with the rail
