Damn man. I am trying to hold myself back from buying a 6.5 by telling myself I can just load up 150g bulets for my .300 RUM. But two custom rifles just seems so much cooler. Was kicking around a 6.5 or a .270 WSM. Which would come from; or go to Corlane of course for some tweaks/adjustments/and all around cool additions. Sexy azz unit bud.View attachment 267615
SMR Full Curl 6.5 PRC Topped with a Zeiss V6 3-18x50.
What are the thoughts on this? Looks really good.

Anyone have experience with one these . Are they any good ?
I wanted a 7PRC but just didn't wanna wait so ended up on the 6.5 train. and 100% building a 6.5 will save you so much time developing a 150gr load in your RUM and save ya a pile of powder! ahaha. I have a few buddy's that bought tikka t3 6.5PRC's, did proof pre-fit barrel swaps and put em in nice stocks and they shooot lights out!Damn man. Meh, the gen 2's are better, but it's the bottom of the barrel for AR type semi autos. Still a decent amount of fun for the price point.Kodiak Defence, WK180-C GEN2 Carbine, 18.6" Barrel, 5.56mm

Those were not on the OIC, but were in the list for C21, but that's on the back burner now.Didn’t those make it onto the latest OIC list?

Yeah, did some digging afterwards, and when all my parts get back here I'm not 100% convinced I'm going to keep it.Jeez that's scary, Good Luck man, I hope you have better luck then others!
if you follow any shooter fourms state side have a look but there has been a load of issues with fierce lately and that's one thing that steered me away from them. Right down to one fella who's gun didn't even have rifling in the barrel!
They have the back door registry now, so all the NR guns are still somewhat "registered". Been reading of guys on CGN going into a LGS to pick up a NR rifle and the transfer getting denied.
Interesting document from May 2022. Check out the Website I found it on.
I would say buy it now as a non restricted because if the change it again the government will not know who has them (no registration for non restricted)
Yea man, would make me a little twitchy to pull a trigger the next few!Yeah, did some digging afterwards, and when all my parts get back here I'm not 100% convinced I'm going to keep it.
Was running Hornady 225gr match when it happened. Gave me the hebee jeebies after that shot, but it did hit the 600 yard gong.

So Mike what makes this any different from any other AR that’s restricted? Is it barrel length or how the action works? This gun looks almost identical to my Sig M400 Enhanced.1,600 OTD Buy them while you can ladies
It's the design of the action. Your Sig M400 is based on an AR platform where the Kodiak is not. Let me ask you this. when you refer to an AR, what does AR mean to you?So Mike what makes this any different from any other AR that’s restricted? Is it barrel length or how the action works?
