Interesting article.

#1, he’s a dirtbag. In possession while being prohibited from possessing a firearm.

#2, his lawyer is a douche. Who gives a chit about the circumstances of covid and inmates. Seniors in homes have had it a hundred time worse since this garbage has started.

#3, I feel the article got it wrong in calling a .22 caliber pistol a “prohibited weapon” as oppose to restricted. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think that is the case as of yet...

Maybe don’t flash your stolen handgun around like a circus clown lol.

#3, they don't provide enough info to know for sure whether the gun itself is restricted or prohibited. For instance it might be some kind of short barrel pistol that is prohibited in Canada.

My buddy has something similar, 3ft long 4" diameter, shoots golf balls over a quarter section lol. Slides the platform back about 7-8ft when she goes bang.

Got to see this little guy in action today. It’s an 80 caliber homemade mini cannon that shoots a 186 grain projectile. I’m going to say it’s illegal as hell now with the Libs ban, but he didn’t seem to think so as it was deemed prehistoric, and used a fuse. Either way, it’s very well made and very cool looking.

Wonder what kind of velocity and bullet weights.
Haha it says right in the fine print.

Bullet on the left is a 165grain accubond moving at 2970 fps
Bullet on the right is a 175 grain sierra game king moving at 2835.

6.8mm is .277 caliber, I'd say they did some fancy work with that case to keep it in a short action cause those bullets will be long in that caliber. I'm gonna guess it's a 300 wsm necked down to .277.

I've run into issues with mag size when hand loading 270 win 140 grains, and those 175's are gonna be a few thou longer fore sure.

Nothing special at all in the speed category compared to the factory hot rods out there with those bullet weights.
Actually slowish.

Lol can't see that close with the old phone. Neat looking round, prolly close to the 7 mm wsm. Just buy the 300wsm and shoot a barnes bullet and be done haha!

I watched this video on 6.8 Western the other day. Sounds like it's basically just a 6.5 PRC.

Not so fancy as lots of the guns on here, but I’m pretty pumped the in-laws gave me the family .303 Enfield

Manufactured in 1917

Anyone have one and know anything I should be watching out for or special care needed?

Keep it cleaned and oiled, take it out of the stock if it gets in bad weather and oil it again.
Break down bolt and clean/oil all of it including spring, always wipe off excess oil.
If it won't shoot straight run a bore snake through it and a polish after.
If it still does not shoot great - sneak closer to your target.
Most importantly hide your family heirlooms from the gvt.

Kinda depends what your plan is for the rifle. Is it going to be just a basic shooter hunting, target gun with shortened stock or are you thinking of putting it back to war time standards like full wood stock. If you want the war time standard I recommend this guy from Saskatchewan his name is Stewart Hardcastle he rebuilds and restores Enfields. I have a beautiful 1917 Short Lee Enfield that he did for me. He is very elderly so if original is what you want call him soon.

Has any body got any trigger time with the GSG 16? Is it as accurate as they say.

Ive probably popped off 500 rounds with mine in the last 2 days. I only have a red dot on it but it is good to 50 yards haha. I'm probably gonna put a cheap amazon scope on it and play at 100 yards or just over. I love the thing. Cheap to buy. Cheap to shoot and loads of fun. Tons of aftermarket airsoft stuff for it too.

A "friend" of mine grabbed a couple of these a few weeks ago on a factory defect sale. Haven't noticed any issues with them yet except they kick like a bugger haha. 23.5" long 12ga OU shotgun. The thing is a blast to shoot but totally useless haha. Fun cracking it open and the shells eject 8 feet over your shoulder
