I've had the same gun for just about 3 years now. I love it. I also put a boydes thumb hole on mine and a glades Amory bolt handle.

I've shot the Winchester, Hornady and American Eagle loads threw it and no issues at all. Probably have close to 3000 rounds threw it.

And a bonus it has no problem lighting off tannerite at 130 ish yards.

I didn't know anybody else other than Winchester made .17WSM.
Lots of .17HMR around but the .17WSM has 2 1/2 times the power at 200yds of the HMR.

Only 100 rounds trough gun but man dos it shoot sweet.

Yuppers, they have just started showing up last fall and this winter. Canadian Tire usually has the Hornady rounds in both 20 and 25 grain.

Works well on coyotes too.

Nice!!!
The Winchester rounds shoot so good not sure it can get better (unless faster) and yes my coyote caller is coming to farm tomorrow.
Had some old primed rifle brass and was igniting the primers at 50yds. Just wicked!
Rips apart small soup cans at 100yds so should be good for yotees.
First day shooting gun an just amazing!!!!
Using the 20gr amo. Energy very similar to 25gr at 200yds but 1.5" less drop......but you know this . Haha
Again just wicked!

Picked up a new plinking gun.
A Savage B-mag .17WSM. Cabelas 3X9X 40 with 20gr and 25gr turrets specifically for .17WSM.
Not a Savage fan at all but really is not a lot of brand in 17WSM - does have a nice Boyd thumb hole stock with palm swells.
And the trigger pull is suprisingly clean.

Wickedly accurate gun. May change my opinion on Savage!
Shooting dimes at 50yds got boring fast.
Going to farm tomorrow for some 100/150/200yds shots at paper.

My daughter is gonna really like this one!

I bought a semi auto 22 savage, just a cheap Canadian tire one. And that the most dead on 22 I have seen.

CRFSC down. Just gotta complete the CFSC tomorrow and Thursday and send away the app. Then I can start my collection. Can't wait. Don't even know where to start. Lol.

I've got the same in the .17HMR. Very fun little rifle to shoot, and surprisingly very accurate at 100yrds

Might go have a look at this AR this weekend. It's a bushmaster. Bare bones. Nothing fancy as it sits. But fairly cheap

I picked up same with in .17HMR. Deadly accurate so far as well. Nice shooting gun. 50 yards and all holes in target touch.

A little off topic sorry guys. I have a 30 year old cooey single shot .22, that the ejector is worn out on. Is it worth taking the bolt in to get it repaired?

That is sexy! If you don't mind me asking... how much, and where from? Does it come in the stubby barrel version?

I ordered it from frontier firearms. It was 1160 with tax and shipping. It's a derya arms mk-10 semi auto mag fed shotgun. I think just recently it made it on the non-restricted list for Canada. Most places I found that were selling them were sold out.
