Any updates Doug, can I assume still white?

Have some friends that want to try someplace new (we usually ride, revy, sicamous, valemount) and leave next weekend for a week. Anyone with a recent condition update and info on the Cooke City experience. BC never seems to disappoint but would like to try somewhere new.

Excellent trip in Cooke this past weekend. Snow is definitely low from years past but still awesome if you aren’t scared of trees. It was snowing when I left.

Average annual snow fall for Cooke is 200 inches. I guess it depends if you are referring to snow fall or snow pack. I was referring to snow pack. 30% of 200 is 60 inches snow pack. As comparison average for revy is 600 inches.

No offence but you couldn't be more wrong on the snow depth/snow pack. Revy doesn't have 600 inches of snow pack either. They are lucky to receive that as annual snowfall. Cooke gets significantly more the 60 inches as well.

What do you think how does it compare to Revy ?

catrutt, I love my trips to Cooke. Its true they don't receive as much snow as Revy but they also don't have 8 million people a day tracking the area out. You can park your sled outside the hotel with the key in it and it won't be stolen etc
