I have a 35K Btu furnace. I would recommend extra roof vents. It was like a sauna in there, it couldn't ventilate enough. I ran a Honda EU3000is generator to charge the battery bank. The trailer I am building now is going to have an electric forced air furnace and a generator running it. No more messing with propane bottles that don't flow enough when it's cold out or worrying about propane leaks.

If your interested can swing a deal for my toy hauler, built in gen, furnace, 8 speakers stereo with sub, wash ports lots of storage, would alleviate all the mods you will need to make to install your heating system

Thank you for the offer. I am getting a 48' GN this time though.

My old truck and trailer.

i am using one of these in my trailer. I have a little 3 place and I was just mostly concerned with drying out gear. And it is usually in B.C., so not a whole lot of -30.

This thing works really well. Not a huge amount of airflow from it, but when combined with a 120v fan in the trailer works better than a lot of forced air units. Also, I wasn't too eager about blowing $3K on a forced air system when I got the whole trailer for less than that.

So what I do is have a small Yamaha generator that runs the 120v fan. The Mr. Heater goes for about 7 hours on the rechargable battery, and then shuts everything off. By then, everything is usually dry.

I have a 20 enclosed, with a 20K BTU forced air. it works pretty good until about -25. This fall while on a hunting trip, my buddy brought along a Kero-World kerosene heater just in case. this is a 23K BTU and runs for about 12 hours on 2.5 gallons of kerosene. This unit along with a 120v fan would probably dry gear that just came out of a washing machine.
They are $299.00 at Newfie speed & sport.:d
