Im doing our basement right now drwalled, suspended ceiling, suspended flooring...

If u need a ceiling don't get drywall ceiling in the basement... try to get suspend ceiling (there ar some nice/different style of tiles out there)...

if and when we do it,it will be a suspended ceiling....We are not developing the basement as a rec area the wife wants to use it for a business.

My brother lives in St. Albert, he has been in the drywall industry for 25+ yrs. Same as me, were both managers now. But I'll PM you his home # and he can give you a price for steel stud, drywall, t-bar, and or texture.

got your pm and back at you....the basement is insulated and has vapor barrier already...It's just a whole open area,with roughed in plumbing.So what we need is drywall hung,tape,mud and put outlets throughout the basement and i believe all she needs is a sink....Dunno how much something like this would cost...guessing the area is 600-650sq ft.

Depending on how you want to finish it, will make the biggest difference.
I alway's tell ppl to book on 5G's, give or take. It gives a person a # to start with.

Sorry, but only in Cold lake does one do a subfloor and suspended ceiling.
You have what is referred to as a City built on infrastructure that would only support a village. Grinder pumps in the Basement, please!!
