A construction landscaper does just that, construction. So things such as building retaining walls, laying patio stones, building planters, etc. not like a normal landscaper that usually does maintenance and perhaps a bit of planting.
Hope that clears it up for a few people
also sometimes can be called hardscapes --- concrete blocks paving stones retaining walls patios
soft scapes are referring to plants
