Well we got back in one piece. The rivers were all very high, much higher than last year. We camped by the James River and marked the level when we arrived, it rose 8" in 2 days, and only got back to the level it was when we arrived the day before we left. That's too bad, I was really looking forward to riding a nice big loop we found last year. Spent all our time cruising around the cow pastures and Marble Mountain.
Heading to the crows nest next week! Another new area for us. Going to the plane crash site. Should be interesting.
The elevation I saw on the wikiloc trail showed 6350ish feet. We were all over 6200 in sundre and had no snow. I hope it's not too much higher, 2 machins in our group were tapping out around 6300'.
