Skid steer is the way to go. Too bad mine got a stolen. Way better lifting capacity.

I use a JD2305 to clear snow. Does the job, little slower. But ya, as previously stated get a 30+hp tractor or skid steer.

Thats what I got as well for around bins and close to buildings. They are a nice little tractor. I have a 7710 for clearing the yards.

Cant get out of the skid steer with bucket/forks in air unless way up. Only drawback to them Be fine for lifting deck out as forks should work on their own. No strap needed

Unfortunately, I only wanted to spend 10 g on a tractor


Till I looked a few , friggin junk , and so old can not get parts anymore ( Ford 3000-5000 and Massey 35-65 ) as good examples

So full spend and got close to every thing I wanted , and saved 15 g from buying new, but I was lucky , looking back at what spent to what I got now

my bota bx2350 with tiller and loader was 17000 all in. that was in 2007. wished it would have lifted a little more weight but did the job.

We have two older rigs for acerage things, a 950 and more recently a 955. Normally the 950 gets snow moving duty, with a our old big blower on the ass end. That being said the 955 will probably take over with its heated cab, 4x4 and front-mounted blower in the near future.

Lots of options out there, just not much when you dont want to spend a pile of cash
