at this point, there is know way of telling who his "person " was, man woman, ndp etc. the old couple's life was in immediate danger and a shot gun may have solved the predicament.

there has been reports of this same thing happening all over, take care.

Yeah I read that as well last night. They are complaining that the Stanley's, GoFundMe, and the creator are benefiting from the funds the death of boushie.

Now if they are gonna go after it from that angle, the boushie gofundme page should also be taken down as well. That page had only raised 30k in 5 months up until the verdict came out and the media blew it up.

So GoFundMe and the creator of that page have also benefited on that side too. But I'm willing to bet they will look past that point and keep pointing the finger at the other side and pull the race card.

Which when it comes down to it..... do they want to be treated as an equal or not? Can't have it both ways here.

Insisting that all juries have Indians on them is a sure way to increase the backlog of court cases and mistrials due to jury problems. Just imagine trying to find a reliable supply of natives that have the means or attitude to show up every day for the trial. Good luck.

Nobody cares that he was native, stop crying it was about the law, not the colour of a persons skin. If colten was white still dont care justice was served. When is the trial for the rest of the kids for dui and attempted theft? Or that doesnt matter. When are we gunna grow some balls in canada and bring in a castle law rule now theirs a poor guy in okotoks gettin **** on for defending his family or would the rcmp rather show up to a home with dead home owners with all there stuff gone to boot?

Ya I like how it's a young indigenous man was shot by a white farmer, but when that poor grader operator got shot at it wasn't an indigenous man shot a white grader operator, this world is a joke, maybe raise your kin better,

Comments from the family,

Baptiste said he hoped for an appeal but, given the government's history with Indigenous people, said he's not surprised by the outcome.

"I knew that we were going to get denied. That's how we are as First Nations people, we are always denied," he said.
"I guess it's more of a white-man's law. We have to live by a white-man's law."

Just bizarre people will jump all over Trump for wanting to build a wall calling him a racist yet the comments from the family and Native community have been nothing but racist. And yet they STILL try and play that card even though THEY are the racists. They have single handily worn that card out
