The hangfire was only 1/2 second not matching the time frame of his stated hangfire.
Mistakes were made, first the gun was pointed at someone’s head, that’s the first thing I was taught not to do. Second his finger was on the trigger when he wasn’t wanting to shoot(if it wasn’t a hangfire). Another no no in my books finger only touches the trigger when you’re ready to shoot.. And third it was with a pistol... that’s all we need is for the libtards to use this as ammo to get tighter gun restrictions.
They are trying to pin him with unsafe operation of a firearm as well, stating about how he doesn’t know how many bullets and the operation of his firearm that when the mag is not present in the gun it won’t fire blah blah blah. In the heat of the moment like that i’m Sure if you asked him he wouldn’t of remembered what he was doing 5 minutes before they pulled up.
My opinion is that if they were actually looking for help, they would’ve gotten their flat fixed for free, muffler tied up plus possibly welded, and would’ve been back to the rez for supper, bannock and fried chicken.
But I can see him getting at least a couple years, if nothing comes of it there’s going to be such an outcry from the First Nations community. Not saying he’s going to be in there for years, he’ll be out in months for good behaviour. Hopefully before harvest.
