Seems to be more and more people are going to the battery powered clothing (gloves and socks) for the warmth, but if you go on the avalanche canada site they have a writing with testing and it is a no to use for interference with beacon will occur. Just something to consider for it is something people don't think of when purchasing riding gear.

Back in my alberta river riding days, had the big wind shield. That helps a lot.

Now the manufacturer doesn't give you one but still raises the retail price every year Lol
