if you now reading this are one of those people who do not vote...youve helped to put canada in the possition its in right now, especially how this effects western provinces

im so pissed off that so many western canadians dont take the time to vote. as if it means nothing and its just a waste of thier time.

I agree 100% with your statements. Most people think that they don't need to vote because "the pc's will win anyway" what they don't realize is that their vote sends a stronger message in total votes.

As for the Governor General she is never in Canada. She is always on a taxpayers holiday all over the world with her french separatist husband.
She wasn't even born in Canada (Haiti) and she is going to decide what is going to happen to our country???

Believe me my friends, this country is in deep trouble. And I believe it is all the fault from voter apathy.

I am so pissed off at the Coalition of Idiots that I emailed letters to all of their parties last night. Tonight I emailed the individual leaders of the coalition, signed a petition supporting our government and will no longer attend the Calgary snowmobile show on Saturday. I'm going to join the rally at city hall in Calgary to support our elected government.

Now is the time for action! Email, talk, write and be visible. Show support for our elected government.

For those who didn't vote, let somoeone else do it because they can't be bothered...becareful....soon our economy will be worthless and the world confidence in Canada will be lost.

The Coalition cannot be allowed to steal power!

And maybe the sled show sunday now....after I support Canada!

governor general has the final say on any issue..... But, only under the recomendations of the prime minister....... So guess what, there will be prorogation and the house will be cancelled until the new year.... In the mean time the government already has ads on tv bashing liberal and bloc seperatists trying to get along together!!! BUT AS EVERYONE ABOVE HAS SAID, IT SQUARELY FALLS ON THE SHOULDERS OF THE CANADIANS THAT NEVER VOTED!!!!!!

Mountainman's comment about the GG and her french-ness and never being home is so true. I wonder how that is going to bode for PM Harper.

an email i recieved

Hello Everyone,

People from across Canada are being encouraged to email Canada‘s Governor General about the potential coalition government in Canada, and express your views. They are hoping one million Canadians will send the Governor General their opinion which should be enough to indicate to her that Canadians don’t want a coalition government taking over parliament without the people asking for one. We hope the one million emails will force the Governor General to call an election if the current government receives a non-confidence vote.

Send it to the Governor Generals email info@gg.ca and forward your email to everyone in your contact list. We must get involved this time.

Another perspective:d:d

Get real man. Rick Mercer and the CBC need to be crushed like a bug. The CBC suck 1 BILLION bucks out of tax payers pockets every year. They are in love the with the Liberals because the Liberals funded them from the start. Anything said on CBC has a Liberal slant to it.

It's pretty bad when the Liberals were talking about replacing Dion on election night, now he's good enough to be Prime Minister? He's a dork!! So is Layton, I'd like to punch both of them in the head!! We better make as much noise about this as we can, otherwise it will ruin what's left of our economy, the markets will really tumble if Moe , Larry and Curly are in charge!!:nono:

I think Rick's a funny guy and appreciate his point of view......however all it does is reinforce the fact that our country's leaders, whether in power or wanting to be in power, are ALL bafoons!

Now I need to get back to real important issues.....do I like my Poparts toasted or stright out of the package.

If this happens the country is going to get flushed, the people have spoken and voted on what they want, maybe the other clowns should wait more than a few weeks to see how the government is working before they try to change it. No one want Dion to rule anything that guy is a moron.....F$#k that pisses me off.

Who did you email to get a quick response? I emailed the Liberal party, the NDP party, Dion and Layton. My emails were civilized. I got no response. Oh ya I couldn't be bothered to email the leader of the separatist party. If the conservative government ever get a majority (which I don't think will ever happen) they need to eradicate the separatist party from parliament. It is unbelievable how long the tax payers of Canada have been paying their wages.:nono:

My email sent.

Dear Governor General,

I am writing to convey my absolute disgust in the political plans of the coalition government.

As a proud Canadian, I feel priviledged to vote to elect a government. The government is elected by the people and for the people.

I thank God for the freedom we enjoy in this great countryof our's and remember the lives that have been given to keep Canada a free nation. I also remember the lives of those brave Canadian soldiers that have been given for my priviledge to vote.

When the recent election resulted in a minority Conservative government it was deceided by the Canadian people. The outcome of democracy.

The recent antics by the Liberal party and NDP party to form a Coalition government is both shocking and shameful. the voters choose the outcome of the election - why are they disregarding the wish of the Canadian people? They are making a mockery of our country and are disrespecting the vote. If this is allowed to go forward - are we any different from corrupt nations where democracy does not have a place.

As Govenor General I urge you to consider the good of our country in making your decision.

Sincerely

Alan Perry

It takes 10 mins of your time - c'mon let's get on this one.
