CNP Snow Conditions - Weak!

So having not ridden there before, how far does one have to travel from the Atlas staging area to find these pockets in the Lost area or the North side? I was planning on taking my wife who is simply a trail rider and was hoping to dart off to play in some meadows here and there along the trail system. Is this area condusive to that or is the snow that sparse that trail riding is pretty much expected for many?

Also, what is the base like around the Atlas staging area or is it pretty bare in that area aside from the trails?

Lost is on the South side of the valley and about 20 Km back give or take from Either Satoris, or York staging area. The rally does not go close to Lost. ( South Lost)
Atlas, I have not been to the staging area their in a few weeks ( The snow was pretty sparse then), so I can't help you their.
But as you get back near racehorse, Vickery and areas out in those areas, the snow is really good in spots, just not real deep so watch it in the cutblocks.
