I guess gunner sold his......does anyone else have a used one they want to sell?
just put a shock wave in my sled and i'm looking forward to using it if u need more information on this unit call darren at e&s he's the man in northern alberta. By what he told me is it's very easy to ajust whenever u need too.I guess gunner sold his......does anyone else have a used one they want to sell?
Just do yourself a favour and get a straight 47 and a purple cat spring. The shockwaves are hard on clutch buttons and don't help belt life either.I guess gunner sold his......does anyone else have a used one they want to sell?

I know at least 20 people who have taken them off in the last yr, so if you really want one there are lot's around.
If you have proper clutching, you should never have to adjust the helix. Proper RPM tuning is done in with the primary.
Yup...Dalton DPYA-2's for big boost. We run 91-94 grthat is what I thought......just was not sure......so Im better off to get adjustable weights in the primary?

nice way to do it but to change the weights on a apex u have to take the clutch off and a lot of work if u want to drive at home plus to find what your helix is u may have to try a few different ones. I'm only running a stage one sc so i'm not running the big horsepower so hopefully I don't have the problems u have described.Actually I think it's DTYA-2.
the other way to clutch is try to figure out how much power you want to make and set your boost for clutching.
For example if you know that 85 gr weights will be about 300 hp, then run 85 gr weights and adjust your boost as needed for rpms. So on a high pressure day you might only have to run 15-16 lbs to pull 85 gr at 10500-10700 rpm and low pressure days you would have to run 17-19 lbs to pull the same weights at the same RPM.
The net result is the same horsepower.
