I’ve got an Indy Dan crank and case I’ve had it going on 5 years and still works like the day I got it. One of the things you have to watch for on an Polaris primary is don’t let the bushings in the weights get to sloppy as they will start to rub and remove material from the sides of the spider and knock it out of balance. Check the bushings in the weights every few rides. The weights will still work as they should but will be destroying the clutch balance.
Got the clutch back today, one side was pretty close the other has 4 holes he drilled for balance. The instructions he gave me are for the torque sequence and cleaning before installing.
What a HUGE difference in the way this clutch engages. The 600 has a quick snap to it when it engages and it's very hard to take off with out spinning the track a little. The 800 is soooo smooth now. ZERO shock load, just squeeze and roll off. Katie wants her clutch done now LOL.
