Clutch Re-surfacing Question

I would say you have a couple other issues to. That one picture it looks like you have way to much space between the clutch and that bearing. There should be a fibre washer in there

It does look like the fiber thrust washers might both be gone? There is some side play on the bearing, but it looks like more space than should be. I wouldn't face the clutch, those primarys sheaves are famous for breaking and blowing up. When they do, they take the secondary with them. You don't want it any thinner. I would run it, keep an eye on it, then just buy a new one. Much safer bet.

Question for you? You idle in gear lots? That will wear a clutch and belt fast. And is really hard on that one way bearing, which is probably why it’s gone. I used to never put my ranger in park unless I needed to. Now I always do after I rebuilt my clutches.

Rapid Revolutions offered to resurface my QSC a coupe years ago. ...don't know if they still do that or not.

ya i guess technically if the belt is set correctly then there would be a very small amount of load on the secondary. and it would freewheel in park or neutral causing it not to slip on the primary

I somehow got a rock inside my clutch case and cause all kinds of hell. I Thought about resurfacing as well (thanks to the suggestion above) and called RR. They still do it. But in my case, there was more damage and not worth it. I just ordered replacements from Country cat.

It's an arctic cat the belt doesn't slip.it has a wet clutch
