Clutch Question

I put a 911 cover on my 2014 assault. When I put the fine tune adjuster on the end of the shaft it does not touch the clutch when fully tightened. Anyone seen this before? Did I miss a step? Other than fine tuning the belt clearance will this affect any other aspect of clutch operation?

Something isnt right, i have one on my 04 proxr but i would have to double check it. Pretty sure the adjuster needs to touch the front cover though.

Does it run out of threads and tightens up or is the setscrew in too far and stops it?

No it runs out of threads. Not sure why. I don't think it's like cats where you have to pull the jam nut?

It should touch. I just installed mine and had to have it backed off most of the way to have it adjusted properly. The spring should push it against the adjuster. Maybe your spring is old and weak?
