Looking for a cleaner or a solvent to remove reflectors. something that wont harm the composition of my hood? also is there any legalitys to changing or customising reflectors? thanks in advance

If you talking the refelctive decals use a heat gun but u dont have to heat too much, then use a wax & grease remover to get the actual glue off. A body shop would have the solvent you need. Sometimes the heat will take the glue with the decal.

Once the decal is off, Goo Gone works well on the removal of the adhesive left behind. I think it's available at Canuck Tire.

Also heard that pledge works good to or is that just for cleaning purposes?

Heat gun and Goo Gone is the ticket.
Pledge is a spray wax used for making things shiny.

If you have WD40 use that, don't go out to spend extra money on goo gone. Not knocking it, it does work, just saying if you already have the WD 40 use it, then clean with hot water & dish soap, rinse & enjoy a beer.:d
