Should have listened and booked my test as soon as the snow was gone. I didn't because the system was down each time I went. Now, no instructors are available in Edmonton. Maybe in July she said, have to keep checking. What a dumba** system they made.
I can go to Calgary anytime though.....
Sorry for the rant... it would be nice to ride without having to bother someone everytime to come with me.

The notley dumb pr$@ks or ndp brought that in and the Edmonton losers voted for them maybe that’s why you can get it done in Calgary

The online scheduler allows you to search by city / town. I started all around Edmonton and surrounding areas. Not a thing until you get to Cowtown. For chits and giggles I checked all the way to high level and ft mac. It would really, really suck if you lived up there!
I want to get it done in Sherwood Park. The registry on Wye is really good, and I know a few guys who got theirs out of there and can practice the route:eek:

Same situation in Fort Mcmurray, they don’t even have a tester scheduled to come up. Been trying since 2nd week of April. Leaving on a trip in June with learners. Lol the boys got to follow I guess.

Apparently you never took the course, if you had there would be no restriction other then no night riding or two up.
Too bad cause there are so many bad rider's out there bringing their bad auto driving habits to the two wheel'ed world believing they are good. The biggest difference is, your cage less.
We see them every day, it is very easy to see those that have and those that have not, no or poor shoulder checking, no idea on lane positioning and most comical one is group riding, "lane position what's that". That's just a couple of bad habits you see, there are so many more.

Good luck with your test but honestly it's not about passing the test its about being safe, seldom is there a second chance on 2 wheels if you get into a situation with a cage.

I guess it depends if your idea in having a motorcycle is to be a "BIKER" or a "MOTORCYCLIST". There is a difference.

Did you try Tofield by chance? Several friends of mine got their licenses there with ease. I didn't even actually know they offered it there.

Steve and his wife are great teachers. I've done the course, my father, brother and my son. Well worth the money.

what Tim said. excellent course and probably the single best thing you can do for your own safety if you are a new rider.

even if you aren't around GP, take a safety course!
