Christmas Theft in Golden

Hi guys, my name is Einar and I work at Avalanche Safety Solutions here in Golden, B.C..

I wanted to post that there was a large crime spree in Golden over the last few days focusing on the Golden snowmobile retailers. Somebody stole a large selection of avalanche safety gear from us, primarily, avalanche airbags and beacons. It looks like these guys knew what they were after and it wasn't a random smash and grab.

The RCMP are telling me that several brand new snowmobiles were also stolen at around the same time from other retail/rental locations in Golden.

We just found out our friends at Rocky Mountain Riders were hit as well. A couple new sleds have disappeared. We will keep you posted on anything else we hear.

Watch ebay as well, big ticket items like that would sell pretty quick there. I bought some Kilim gloves off of ebay, smokin deal, and ebay pulled the listing, and the next day the seller wasnt a registered user anymore. Me thinks the gloves were hot.

wtf: That is bs. You would think with all the street cameras/hwy cameras ect, 1 of them cameras would have caught them on tape. Or maybe they did and the police just have to track more leads.I hope so
