Chop shop busted in Kelowna

Anybody see this story RCMP bust Kelowna chop shop with Hells Angels link - British Columbia - CBC News

My buddy was out on the lake the other day and docked at Canoe to go for lunch, came out from lunch and the RCMP and a lady were looking his boat over. Turns out his boat he bought from these guys is a stolen boat. The rightful owner spotted it and brought the RCMP to the dock. At this point he is out his money and told he will have to take legal action against these guys. Good luck with that eh.
They had modified the vin so everthing was ok when he registered it but when the RCMP checked the serial # of the engine and I/O drive it came back as stolen a year and a half ago. Allegedly a Hells Angels run shop.

Maybe that is where all those stolen sleds from Revy and Sucamoose have been going?

It got busted a few weeks ago and from what I have heard, the shop is back open for business already. Must be some pretty weak charges if its open again.

It was a fair price I thought last fall but I am not a good judge.. It was a pontoon boat so IMO not worth much but when I look now it seems to have been low for what they are priced at. 26 foot with an I/0 for about 2/3rds of what I see them for. Like I say I wouldn't know a high quality from a low quality one. They all look like floating docks to me.
Now if it was a mastercrap or ski naturd I would know a hot deal.

they do advertise they work on sleds... i have never seen any sled for sale on there website or facebook page just cars trucks boats and bikes. would not suprise me if there were sleds behind the closed doors?

I was doing a little more reading on this, the owner of the company has been raided for grow ops and what not too. If he got out of that I am sure stolen vehicles are easy enough to get away from.

I was doing a little more reading on this, the owner of the company has been raided for grow ops and what not too. If he got out of that I am sure stolen vehicles are easy enough to get away from.

Especially society's real criminals the guys who drive with their driving lights on and/or uncovered!!B.C would be a much safer place with those guys behind bars!!!
