Choke when warm?

My 1998 Mountain Max starts ok 5-6 pulls full choke, after riding a while will start to bog down and requires the choke to be set in the 1/2 position.
Any suggestions???

Have you cleaned your carbs? Sounds like your pilots are clogged...

Yes quite common if you don,t put additive in!

Never cleaned carbs before...pull off intake hoses and go nuts with spray carb cleaner and wipe out?

Go over to totallyamaha.com and check out there tech section,,, will give you step by step instructions..... Yes you will have to pull your carbs off...... Don't be intimidated by them and after you do it once it will be a breeze......
