With all the crap going on I thought lets do a festive post. Sledders are good people and christmas is soon to be here so show us light displays. I did my lights yesterday and sure was nice that it was above 0.

Here’s our place. We add a little every year. Most of the stuff we build ourselves as we stock up on lights and cords after Xmas every year. We had more plans for this year, but ran out of time. We’ll have to save it for next year I guess.

We picked up an 8' blow up Santa this year and put it on the deck so you can see it coming up the road and from our 3 year old's bedroom window so he's pretty excited about that. I'll get a pic tonight.

Living in the bald arse prairies, you should see how those inflatables survive! They look like a punching bag - face to the ground..back up...face to the ground...back up...haha. Tried using them the first year we lived out didn't work. Same year, a week after Xmas, it was nearly -30 C outside. I put our real, but dried up Xmas tree out the front steps with half of the base still stuck to it. Got windy that night and the tree and the base disappeared. I drove around in a 3 mile radius looking for the damm thing and never did find it. It was a 8' tree!
