Chips for 6.0 L GMC

Was thinking about buying a chip for my 6.0L 2009 GMC 2500 HD. Just hoping to get a little better mileage pulling my trailer. Any suggestions for what would work best?

He does custom programing which is way better than a chip.

I have a bulldog in my 08 Didn't do much. I wouldn't waste your money. I took it out completely

Also the can un program stuff like evap crap and rear 02 sensors to keep the engine light from coming on for no reason

I have tried three different programmers and also custom tuning in mine and still only get 13 mpg. I gave up.

Go with custom tune, it will be the only chance at getting better milage.

With my F-150 I had Intake, Dual exhaust and Edge chip. While pulling the same load,down the same roads, I would still get the same milage. HOWEVER it would maintain its speed WAY better.

Meaning ...more power same milage.
Which is a fair trade off.

Get it tuned the plug in programers don't do much, but doubt you'll get any better millage anyway.

Like others said... You are not going to get any fuel mileage gains. You will just get more power and better use of the transmission with a custom tune.

Custom tune. I self tune my own stuff with EFILive. I almost guarantee you will see nothing for mileage increases worth mentioning. With your L92 headed 6.0 liter you will have more top end power.... but the low end will still be pretty doggy. Just the way it is.
