Chinese ATV's - Any Good?

I know of one guy that has had a Chinese machine several years (cant tell you what brand) and has not had any problems with it. My brother in law bought a Chinese machine this spring and has nad nothing but grief, he cant seem to keep it running. Both machines are quads...
As others have said here, Be patient and look for a good used brand name, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki etc.
