Anyone Know the conditions in the Chetwynd area. Hasler, Powder King etc. Its almost December, getting itchy to go for a ride. I know the ski hill is open.

Still thin out there. Report from sunday saying there is approx 100cm of snow in Silversands. Not worth the drive, it'll probably mid January Before we can go.

Was at Silver Sands on Sunday Dec 16. Snow was over waist deep and very soft. We didnt probe but figured 5-6 feet. close to 3 feet had fallen all week and made for some good riding. Still a little thin so we worried about stumps and such but didnt really hit anything. There was no carnage. Lol. Was well worth it. Heard it snowed another foot over Sunday night also so it should be even deeper.

I'm having a very good time out here haha, today was pretty good. Now just waiting for pizza and having beers, oh and pretty much no base way up top.

Was curious how the road was because it snowed non stop in powder king for 2 days.

Havent been riding the Hasler, Silver Sands, Braver Creek and Powder King area for a while. Anybody know the current snow conditions? Cement or some powder? Havent seen a whole lot of info on the Avy sites either. Looking to go for a ride that way in the next week or so.

I haven't been out yet this year. Hockey, hockey, hockey! I would like to head out that way this weekend. Powderking website shows no new snow. Supposed to get some starting Sunday.

Silver Sands was OK. Nice snow in the trees. No fresh snow, but nice off the beaten path. Lots of untouched left. No crust except ridge tops and old tracks. Trail in (7km of moguls ) sucks as per usual.
