I was thinking it would be kinda neat to meet up as a large group and caravan down the highway with trucks shined and machines loaded. ...would be a noteworthy site seeing 100+ vehicles and their toys rolling towards Calgary at the same time. $10M+ in iron might get help demonstrate economic impact. ...parking might be a biotch.

Great idea, I'm hoping to get a significant amount of vehicles down there, toys jerseys bodies and voices

beautiful, downtown Salmon Arm, BC
There was a drive around in Lethbridge last Saturday. Don't know the particulars, but I came across trucks with sleds, quads, and holiday trailers all postered up with "No to the Castle Parks"

If I was around, I would get a ride from Red deer. But I will be in McBride that weekend.

Other than attending the rally what can a person or business do to show support?

how about businesses? I have a friend at Woodys RV that might be able to do something. I would think Woodys would be impacted by these closures

It's a good start to get informed. Filling out the survey AND writing the letter are both very important steps.

It looks like the AOHVA is slowly waking up, so check them out too: Alberta Off-Highway Vehicle Association | AOHVA They have a summary of what's transpired, actionable items for you to do, and even have letter writing tips when addressing the government on this issue.

There are numerous Facebook pages and groups as well.

You bet he'll be affected! If I was and RV or powersports dealership, you can bet that I'd be working tirelessly to get the message out using mainstream media. Television, radio, and newspaper adds would go along way to refuting some of the nonsense the environmentalists have been spewing. This kind of coverage, if done in a responsible way, could also be used to expose government plans to push their environmental agenda regardless of how poorly founded it may be or how Albertans actually feel about it.

Step #1 - get informed
Step #2 - at least fill out the survey and write your letter
Step #3 - I wish I had a good answer

It should be noted that this is time sensitive since public consultation for the Castle closure is Mar 20, 2017.
