I just did my 14 sled, moved two years ago but had sled before we moved and registered in Alberta before we moved

I got one plate mounted , will do the other before I leave Thursday,why not just save yourself the hassle and get your plate mounted and carry proper paperwork ...........wow what a great idea lol

I can't find a good spot for mounting the plates.
Other than the flap, and I just can't make myself put it on the flap.
Should have chose the sticker..... It would be stuck somewhere by now.

Rode frisbee on wed this past week and was asked to show registration and insurance in the parking lot. I showed the officer both but I carry my plate under my seat cause there isn't really a good place to mount it. Anyways for all you out there thinking of different spots to mount it,don't bother. According to the officer at frisbee the plate or sticker needs to be mounted on the riders left side of your sled. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Well he is wrong.


The only way to keep yourselves from getting a ticket at the end of the day is have it registered, carry the paperwork, have the plate/sticker mounted and print off the regs for your jurisdiction and keep those in your truck. Each province is different and the one your sled is registered in is the governing body and dictates where it can be placed.

When some know it all cop says it has to be only on the left side show him the regs and thank him for allowing you the opportunity to point out he is wrong.

Was at Frisby Thursday and Friday. None there to ask for anything.

Yes front, back or left side as per b.c laws


But DC is right if where ur from is different then that applies

Does Alberta make the sticker plates yet? Just can't bring myself to drill holes in the tunnel....

And where are the acceptable mounting spots for Alberta?
I hope under the seat is one.
