Everyday on this forum someone has an issue with Martin equipment...Why do people continue to go there?? There are the highest price dealer in the province and there service is terrible so why do so many people use them...Just sayin.

this is true. where else are you going to go?

I once bent a crank on an old Exciter 250 by flying off a river bank and dropping about 12-15 feet. But with suspensions nowadays hard to believe. You never know though, a unbalanced primary hitting 8500 rpm, well it seems plausible.

it is plausable.

but thats irrelevant as far as i see it.

the unbalanced clutch is a warranty issue. so therefor the crank should be a warranty issue.

Some dealers make a good living on warrenty, charge you, then charge doo. Not saying Martins would ever do this.

what are flyweights on a tra clutch?

also

was your motor hitting rated rpm? check. good

as long as all 3 pinweights were the same.... and you werent reving 9000rpm all day...

sounds like a bs story to me!!!

how do they know what the correct pinweight is for your machine?

do they have a futuristic machine that can detect your clutch fitness versus a new part and determine proper pinweight and what you had for breakfast last night.?
