So what your saying I should rent the loft to ya for 200 a nite???
I think that's the best thing going for locals.
The unofficial b&b, breakfast optional. Tax free cash and you can be selective.
Have made some good friends in Revelstoke over the years doing this.

Actually, I rent it out for free

To all my Buddy's that stay here, the deal is they bring food to cook and beer to drink ( when Alberta was cheaper, now they bootleg back to alberia lol)

But I don't have anyone staying here the next few days, and seeing as it's prime season hey

I also get wood to heat loft and house with, so the sweat from that heats it lol, mabe I should rent it out

Friends or not, $50/ night per guy seems to kinda be the standard. And still chip in with the rest of what you mentioned.

Message me if you ever go that route. Lol
Don't have a contact like that in Sicamous yet and I am kinda growing fond of the sun out that way.

It's a 1200 square feet loft, 3 beds, couches, t.v, wood stove, kitchen table ect

Just no biffy or water up there, house is 3 steps away

Just worried about power going out and frozen lines, as power goes out alot here lol

And don't have a 10 k geny, just a 4000 Watt for lights and fridges

I wouldn't worry about that, sounds like a sweet setup.

One of the places I stay at, the only source of heat is a pellet stove. Load it up, last for 24hr. Not much for an electrical load either if you had to back it up with a genny.

Got the wood stove so no power needed at all
But only heat it up there when someone comes

In the below garage level just keep the base boards at plus 7
