I broke my master cylinder last Saturday along with my 2nd bake lever. I see that Doo made the reservoir part of the cylinder a separate piece which is cheaper than replacing the whole setup but still, why do they make these parts out of plastic? Has anyone else broke these parts on their sled?

Yeah I have broken a couple. Metal would be better than plastic

Lots of guys break them. I've seen 3 this season in my riding group. Try and find the master cylinder off of an RT1000 it was all metal.

The one on my Rev is metal and I thought about using it but the problem is the brake switch. I've yet to break one on my XM but have broken probably 5-6 on my rev. What are those levers made of, does anyone know?
