Cmon bud, I had torsion springs on my rear skid back in 1977 on my Everest 440......40 year old tech

all the new race sleds use them. Gives an extra level of adjust ability other skids do not have. Funny how the Skidoo skid absolutely dominates on a whooped out trail at the end of the day and performs just as good in the alpine with the torsion springs.

but your right. its old!

I snowchecked a silver/green 165 cheap cat today.
I snowchecked the same for the wife too only with es. I’m thinking I need es too. Great prices on the 2020’s. I’ve only used warranty once since 1992 so why pay the extra money if you don’t use it. The new pistons / head / fuel rail will hopefully raise things over 170 hp.

I wouldn’t think over 170hp but I’m told right around the 165hp mark, which is a 10hp difference

kinda like the guy who's selling a baker/raptor rear arm... added spring spacers to a freeride, not needed anymore lol

Can you explain how an adjuster block with 5 settings provides an extra level of adjustability over a rear shock with a threaded collar that has adjustments that could be changed infinitely through its range of the threaded body?

It’s true, Skidoo is wonderful on a whopped out trail. Very plush but I wouldn’t expect anything less from a stretched out trail chassis.
