Snow melt is late this year. Stil ice and slush on the road. Pretty much mud or mud bogging the whole way. Very slipper in the corners. Be prepared for a +1.5hr drive.

Snow should be alight for your week. Temps are high during the day but still hitting some negatives at night. If there's any snow fall over night it will be settled by the end of the day. I am thinking by the end of the week that road might be better with more dry sections than mud sections. I would take it easy from bush harbour into the water shortcut as there was lots of ice sections which will be muddy spots from warm weather. Esplande rec site turnoff is a another mud hole as usual.

ps...."Z" area we were talking about never happened this year, made 3 attempts and failed.... Going to try another route in next year from the north side.

Curtis, our nights that our group of 12 are staying are the 13th, 14th, and 15th. We will definitely see you on the trail or road. I will be posting some pics and hopefully composting a vid when I get back home..

WOO HOO!! Can't wait!

Here is a vid from a couple of years ago.

Km 33 hole
Km 37 mud bog

Slow to a stop on these bad boys.
Bluebird and spring like conditions. The snow gets soft and nice by noon.

Warm. T shirt weather.

Dale is no longer a presence at chatter. He was the main reason why I came here. I guess he didn't see eye to eye with the brass. I am thinking that this place will go to chit.

Sorry, I forgot my card reader. It was stellar weather, but the snow was ok in the afternoon. getting better day by day. It was pounding snow when I left.... melts fast in the sun..

Chatter is an experience, no matter the snow.
