What's the riding like around there?I have a buddy who's planning a trip and figures we should go there!I'm about 1.5 hrs. north of Edmonton and that is a long drive! Is it worth the extra hours stuck in a truck?I like new areas but don't really want to waste a whole day driving for a 'alright' area!Any info would be great and also is there any trail maps available for the area? Thanks everyone!

I read on the internet that they are going to make the hills in Crowfoot bigger so there are not flat top rolling hills anymore. Got a mountain designer from Saskatchewan to do the upgrade. Untill they are done best to stay away.

Ya the north shwaps sucks. I only ride there because i suck and it is such an easy area with well defined trails and access points and the snow is never deep enough to get stuck. Hope this helps.

Crowfoot is ok if you like that kinda thing. I drive past the McBride turnoff, past Valemount, past Blue River, etc....so that I can go to Crowfoot...not the greatest drive but the sledding is.... well....ok.
