Changing Winch Cable !

Hi , I went from wire cable to synthetic line ( blue ) , it is alot easier to work with. I changed ( I should say "goodngrubby" did )....lol. the flair head as well. I bought the line and flair head at Parkland Sled & ATV. Here in Red Deer , but you can get it any place. The 50 ' synthetic line was $ 59.95 and the flair head was $ 59.95 ( warn ) Hope this helps you.

Yup thanks!! Wow 60 bucks for the flair head!!. Did you just put 50' on because you probably have room for 150.

Towed it,,I took it apart dried it out in the garage for him.No problems

No i put on 50' because that is the way they sell it. But also i ride a Polaris 800, so not a lot stops it ! Just ask Tex78.....lol.....( Ok lets hear it )

i don't think you will get more than 70 ft on the spool. i bought 400 ft of the blue steel rope thinking the same, 75 ft was it and 70 would have been better. i got 400 ft at $1.00/ ft. still have a little left, although i may need it.:d
