Changing Winch Cable !

Need some advice on changing a polaris winch cable to synthetic. How easy is it and how does the end fasten to the drum ? Thanks for any help. Is there any thing to watch out for ?

I belive the rope attaches the the same as the cable dose. its pretty easy to do. may want to just pull the winch right out though. and its recomended that you change the fair lead to. the cable leaves sharp edges in it and it will damage the rope. hope this helps.

Make sure you change the fairlead and sand down any sharp spots on the drum
